About the Author
Since Florian Mueck joined a chapter of Toastmasters International in Barcelona in 2005, public speaking has become his greatest passion. In 2009 the former business consultant turned his passion into a profession. Today, a collaborator with IESE Business School in Barcelona and author of The Seven Minute Star – Become a Great Speaker in 15 Simple Steps, Florian offers communication seminars, presentation coaching, keynote speeches, and moderation in English, German, and Spanish — mainly to international corporations. Practical, Tangible, Specific 2nd book from Florian

I have known Florian for the last few years, so this review must be viewed in the light of that bias. However, I have seen Florian work really hard at codifying the improvements that can turn a good speech into a great speech - and this book, PlusPlus is the fruit of those thousands of hours of individual speech coaching, group coaching and many seminars.
Together at IESE we work with over 500 managers each year, seeing over 1500 speeches. Florian has been a member of Toastmasters for over 7 years and has listened to hundreds more speeches in that environment. Florian has collected the feedback into categories and the book PlusPlus provides summarized access to this wisdom.
If you are a speech training coach this book will multiply the impact of your feedback, it will give you essential language to help transmit the ideas that make for a speaker to move from good to unforgettable.

The MUST-HAVE for public speakers

PlusPlus is a MUST-HAVE for every public speaker. Dos and Don'ts are well structured and edited, so that you can start directly with your own public speaking experience. For the English language Merriam-Webster is A reference. For public speaking PlusPlus is THE reference. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to you and to all my friends from Toastmasters!
