Judy Herr, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Early Childhood Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Dr. Herr is a member of numerous early childhood organizations such as NAEYC, and has held leadership positions in these organizations. She is also a frequent lecturer at early childhood conferences and seminars and has published many articles and books on early childhood topics.

I rented this book for one of my Early Childhood classes. It was very detailed. Because I work in this field, I can say that the information in this book was valid, as to how a preschool program runs, curriculum, play, etc.

We purchased this book for our teachers earning their CDA's. This book is full of wonderful inforamtion that can be used right away. Young children need early education, not a baby sitting.
